Mr Litten will be writing a weekly newsletter, with the aim to share with you all that is good about our school and its children.

Dear Parents, pupils, and staff

What a week! Our Year 6’s rose to the challenge of SAT’s week with courage and determination; our Year 3 and 4 football teams loved every moment of a football festival; we learned that Staff Seargeant Bowden will be returning to our school and amazingly three of our pupils made the finals of a prestigious poetry competition (more to follow on that after half term).

SATs Test - A Testing Time is Over
This week, our Year 6 pupils demonstrated tremendous resilience, maturity and determination as they completed their SATs tests. It was a week that can often feel daunting, but our children approached each day with positivity, focus and a real sense of purpose.
SATs week is about much more than tests—it is about resilience, growth and believing in yourself. Our Year 6 pupils have shown all these qualities in abundance, and we could not be prouder of them.
Well done, Year 6—you have been fantastic!

The Beautiful Game

A cracking morning of football! Our teams walked away tired but happy, full of pride and wonderful memories. They had shown great sportsmanship, determination and, most importantly, a real love for the game.

A fantastic day enjoyed by all—well done, Year 3 and Year 4!

Coates were declared this year’s winners - well deserved! Hopefully, we will reclaim the shield next year!
