Mr Litten will be writing a weekly newsletter, with the aim to share with you all that is good about our school and its children.

Dear Parents, pupils, and staff

From the magical Nursery Nativity, where our youngest learners take their first steps onto the stage, to the reflective beauty of our Christingle service, these celebrations bring our community together and create moments that inspire, nurture, and shine.

A Wonderful Christingle Service

This week, our school community came together for a truly special Christingle Service—a cherished tradition that brings light, hope, and togetherness during the festive season. St Mary’s was filled with a warm glow as children proudly held their Christingles, each one a beautiful symbol of faith, love, and the world we share.

The service was a moment of reflection and joy. Our pupils sang with confidence and sincerity, creating an atmosphere that was both uplifting and deeply moving.

It was wonderful to see families, staff, and children united in celebration, reminding us of the importance of kindness and community.

Our Choir Shines Bright

The Park Lane School Choir brought festive magic to life this week with two stunning performances that left everyone feeling uplifted and inspired.

Their rendition of Silent Night was a moment of pure serenity—gentle harmonies filling the hall and reminding us of the beauty of simplicity during this special season.

In contrast, the choir’s powerful performance of Power in Me was full of energy and confidence, showcasing the strength and ambition we nurture in every child.

A huge thank you to our talented pupils for their dedication and to the staff who supported them, especially Mrs Bradshaw!

Thank you for supporting our school we are proud of your children and all they achieve. Together we are kindness and community!

Kindest regards,
