Mr Litten will be writing a weekly newsletter, with the aim to share with you all that is good about our school and its children.

Dear Parents, pupils, and staff
Thank you for a very positive start to a new half term! The school is buzzing with enthusiasm, laughter and learning! We have a wonderful school and we achieve so much together for all of our children and our community!

Joy, Music, and Community Spirit
Pupils took take part in the Holiday at Home event at the Methodist Church—an uplifting community gathering that celebrated connection, music, and shared experiences. The choir, made up primarily of Year 6 pupils and several enthusiastic Year 5 members, attended the event following a kind invitation from Zoe Drury, New Road’s Chair of Governors and a member of the organising committee.
The children performed songs from their recent Young Voices concert before joining guests for drinks, cake, and plenty of conversation. Pupils also enjoyed reading poems, sharing jokes, and playing games with the attendees—though they were disappointed that there wasn’t enough time for card bingo!
Radio Fenland interviewed some of the pupils, and photos will be available soon on their website via the newsreel feed.
An up-to-date list of future term dates is below. Thank you for supporting our school we are proud of your children and all they achieve.
